SaltWater Fields is an 84-by-55-foot post-and-beam-style event barn on 8 acres overlooking the Saint George River estuary in Thomaston, about 3.5 miles from Rockland. The barn has cathedral ceilings, radiant floor heat, and seats up to 200 for a formal dinner, with both indoor and outdoor ceremony options and plenty of room for a tent on the lawn. It operates as a true all-season venue thanks to the radiant heat. Full-day rentals include overnight accommodations in a guest house and glamping tents on-site, with checkout at 11am the following day. Couples bring their own caterer and bartender to use the fully equipped, oversized kitchen rather than working from an in-house menu.
